Covid is back, and I am one of those affected by the stupid new rules, which states you have to now be 75 to get the vaccine.
I have taken every covid vaccine offered to date, but can't have one this year. Had one last year, can have one next year, but can't have one this year. Which is clearly madness, especially with it being on the rise again. Having had covid one time, it was horrible, nasty, but I got through it, I believe, because of the vaccine. Yet, I can have the flu vaccine. Utter nonsense.
I think most people, including myself can see the reason behind the government's decision.
The money grabbing, tight-fisted, empty-hearted, snivelling conniving powers that be, do not care about the people of the country, much less the elderly. it all about how much money they can reign in.
I do not like the Reform regime, but I understand the surge toward them that is happening in the country. I do not believe it is because they want them in power. But more about being totally disillusioned by the main parties, who fill people with promises they never keep. Politics is always about themselves, not the people. Yet it is the people who they should be serving.
I can't agree that all politicians are in it for themselves but this government has certainly bought into business-as-usual approaches that, and here I do agree, will do nothing to stop both the country and our politics getting much worse for many people, whether Reform get in or not.
We should all be aware that, the more power Reform get and are able to unleash US-style anti-science lunacy to entrench fear, ignorance and their vote, the more at risk our vaccination system will likely be and the health of those who most depend on it.
